Sunday, April 9th at 10:30 a.m. Jesus the Servant-King comes to Jerusalem to die on the cross. His triumph on the cross is the victory of life over death, love over hate, and the truth over the lie. At the cross, Justice and mercy embrace, bringing salvation to those who embrace His cross.
Friday, April 14th at 6:30 p.m. "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8, NIV).
"He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed." (1 Peter 2:24, NIV)
Today is a day to reflect on the ultimate sacrifice Christ made for us. Today we remember the day Christ laid down his life in exchange for ours. This gracious act of love paved the way for everyone to have a direct connection with God—through a personal relationship with Christ.
This service will include Bible readings from the gospel of Mark as well as communion.
If you have questions or just want to talk about it with someone, we are available. Use the contact link below, or call (815) 463-1125 to speak with one of our pastors.
Sunday, April 16th at 9:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome to join us at Parker Road Bible Church for a free continental breakfast — located in our gymnasium. Easter Sunday Service
Sunday, April 16th at 10:30 a.m. He is risen indeed! The stories of those who encountered the living, resurrected Christ become our stories. The resurrection of Jesus is the foundation of our faith and the story we share with others. As we proclaim to others who He is, we experience all the more his transforming presence in our lives.
