What Celebrate Recovery can do:
1) Provide you with a safe place to share your experiences, strengths, hopes, and struggles with others who are also going though difficult times.
2) Provide you with a leader who has gone through similar issues and facilitate the group as you focus on a particular step each week.
3) Provide you with the opportunity to find an Accountability Partner or a Sponsor.
4) Encourage you to attend other recovery meetings held throughout the week if needed.
What Celebrate Recovery WILL NOT do:
1) Attempt to offer any professional advice. Our leaders are not counselors. At your request, we walk with you as you seek our help.
2) Allow it’s members to “fix one another”.
More about CR:
Celebrate Recovery’s Eight Recovery Principles are based on the Beatitudes. Our purpose is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the 12 Steps and 8 Recovery Principles. This experience allows us to “be changed”. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another. In addition we become willing to accept God’s grace in solving our life’s problems. By working and applying these Biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This new freedom, this NEW BEGINNING creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through PRBC’s Celebrate Recovery, we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power- Jesus Christ.
